The Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce was active in the community during the third quarter of 2023. Through this compilation, you will see the number of conventions and events attended to promote the goals and mission of the Chamber. Events included the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 44th Annual Conference held in Costa Mesa, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Conference in Orlando Florida, NAELO in New York City and more. We are proud to represent our Latino small businesses throughout the country to share our narrative and the great work of the Chamber.

The Los Angeles Community College District's (LACCD) Small Contractor Boot Camp is a four-session program explicitly designed for small contractors to improve their competitive bidding capacity. Through a comprehensive curriculum, small contractors will learn more about the pre-qualification process for the BuildLACCD Program's Pre-Qualified Service Provider (PQSP) bench, PQSP contracts for projects ranging from$25K - $5M, how to bid for contracts, and more.

Starting today, February 26, 2024  small businesses can unlock the application for this round of grant funding by first registering on the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready portal and completing at least two of the following, in any combination: courses, coaching or community events. Small businesses that complete the application, and are registered in a local zip code, will be eligible for consideration to receive a $10,000 grant.
